YES LORD

The first step in becoming a believer is to say “YES” to God. From then on the entire life of the believer is filled with situations, challenges, opportunities, tests, trials, temptations, obstacles, sacrifices and choices in which the only proper, acceptable, beneficial response will be “YES” to God.

It will not always be the most obvious. It most likely will not be the easiest. It will probably not be popular, convenient or painless. It could possibly foster ridicule, derision or persecution.

Yes to God aligns the heart (The Internal Authority) with the will of God. “Yes”, positions the believer in a posture to receive from God. Yes establishes the Preeminence of God’s will over ones own. “Yes” to God is the subjugation of one’s desires to whatever God says.
